Depending on the structure of the bridge of your nose, some people have gaps between the goggles and the face and bbs can get through there. This is made worse by the fact that when you are looking down sights or scopes, the line of sight through this gap can lead right to your eye.
This is sort of why there are "asian fit" ESS models.
