ok, here is the lowdown. System 7 is the new system. The older USP models are being discontinued and ONLY the System 7 stuff will be available soon. the new system is just that. completely new. That means new blowback chamber, mags, slide, and inner barrels. now, that being said, the new system was designed to lessen the "cool-down effect" in full auto pistols. People saying that since the USP is semi auto, it isn't necessary. That being said, its not a bad thing either. if you want to do rapid shots, it will be easier and put less strain on the gun with the System 7, as opposed to the older system. Either way, get the System 7 (from a Canadian retailer, once your are age verified of course) since the older USP model is being discontinued.
