Ok, I know this is a necropost, but I decided to use the search option before starting a new thread, and this is the only relevant one to come up.
Anyway, I was reading through
THIS thread and I decided to check out the link in post 98. The idea of a RAP4 airsoft gun sounds really cool to me, and I'm left with these questions:
Why hasn't there been more discussion about this/why is there a lack of interest (other than cost which, let's face it, isn't THAT huge a factor in airsoft.)?
How hard is it to get one of these in Canada? I know there are RAP4 paintball markers available and the conversions kit should get across the border OK
Does anyone on the boards have one? How does it perform?
Anyay, it would seem that RAP4 also has
Dedicated Airsoft Products, and I can only think that this sounds really, really cool.
I understand that some concerns may be cost and low mag capacity...but wouldn't something that ejects casings be that much cooler in a milsim? And people usually aim for low/midcaps in milsims anyway, so the 20 round mag would actually be beneficial to their use in that environment.
I will now go don my nomex coveralls and betacloth gear
....in the meantime, your thoughts, opinions, and insights, please
