Perhaps I should qualify my opinion with the experiences I've had with the three bodies I've installed so far.
Body #1. After the mechbox was installed the selector switch was so tight that the disc that moves the selector plate broke off (after changing the fire selector setting a few times). Mechbox locking pin holes were not aligned so I could not install the pin. The rear part that inserts into the buffer tube was too thick and I had to sand down both guide rails (tried a TM and CA buffer tube).
Body #2. Again mechbox locking pin could not be secured. There were what seemed to be ridges inside the mag well (it looked like this on the sides _____--_____--____), had to sand down that part to get mags to fit properly. Paint was starting to bubble off even though body was NIB.
Body #3. Same ridge in magwell issue as body #2. Even with the upper receiver slid in properly, there was a bit of play between the upper and lower receivers.
As T7 said considering the price of dBoys metal bodies in Canada they definitely do not offer the same value as G&P, KA or CA. If they were dirt cheap like they are in the US and the rest of the world that's different, a bit of work to get things to fit would not be unreasonable but for what you pay it's not worth it.
I won't work on another dBoys body, if someone has one they'll have to find another gun doc.
