Some like kraft dinner, some like no name brand noodles and cheese sauce.
Depending on the body you may require a different fix, some of the older metal bodies had a very tight clearance in the mag well. I also found very tight clearances for a hopup in the front of the upper. However its nothing terrible to fix if you have dremel access.
I myself have never run into any issues in regards to having to shave off any material from magazines. However, everyones experiences are different. Dboys maybe learning from their past mistakes are their newer bodies dont seem to have as many clearance issues.
To the original poster, your KA mags will not go to waste, however, be prepared to dremel just in case. You may not need to but you never know. You do get what you pay for.
For myseld though after my intial experience with my own and a few others I made a personal decision to never work with them again. A dboys metal body is worth what? Maybe 30-40 dollars outside of Canada, and they go for what? 150-200 here in country? Whats a G&P or king arms worth outside of Canada. 100ish?110ish? Whats it worth in country. 200-250 give or take? When I think about it, why bother paying 5 times the cost for a low end-mediocre quality item when you can pay an extra 50 dollars and still only pay 2 times the original cost for a decent quality item.
Its all a matter of opinion I guess, personal preferences in regards to standards and quality. I like kraft dinner.
