Their externals are ok considering their price, but their internals are shit.
Bad quality control, constant issues with tolerances as well as famous for their incompatability issues and poor material choices.
Avoid mixing and matching brands, If your gonna go systema for example, go completely systema and use a systema box as guarder parts for example (Piston, spring guide etc dont fit inside a systema box without considerable modification)
I couldnt agree more. I am a heavy heavy supporter of KA products, there gear and externals atleast. Im not overly fond of their internal items. The experiences I have had with their internals were not terrible but the money could have been better spent.

Now a days Im pro Modify internals, good quality materials with good QC. Atleast from my experience thus far I havent had any issues, yet.

Essentially any info I have to offer has already been suggested.

And to to add onto what to Skruface said a stock TM mechbox would be what I would choose too. They are actually fairly sturdy, its when you mish mash parts and put crazy springs in is when you begin to see problems and breakages and what not. I have a TM V2 mechbox that has been in use for 4 years hasnt shown any signs of stress or fracture. Reenforced mechboxes are not invincible they just take a little longer to break than usual.

+1 to G&P motors
But personally for myself I find TM Eg1000s work well too,

A: Modify or Systema, Modifys are nice and made with strong materials but the systema v2 spring guide has been a tried tested and true item and has been in use for a fair while.
B: Modify, Great springs, very flexable and will stay consistant over 10s of thousands of shots.
C: Modify or Prometheus, both are good quality pistons, I personally prefer the prometheus piston
D: Modify
E: Modify
(no real reason for these two, just attempting to stick to one company, as it has been noted when you mish mash to many companies parts you can begin to have issues)
F: Deep fire ( No reason really, just cause its shiny and gold and looks nice, havent had any issues with it either)
G: Stock TM
H: Stock TM
(I chose stock TM for both because these parts dont have to be fancy, they just have to work and they work very well)
I1: Modify or Prometheus
I2: Modify or Prometheus
I3: Modify or Prometheus
(With those gears, if you choose modify you can have either or the straight drop in or the regular modify gears. If you use a stock TM mechbox you will have no issues with the drop in preassembled set. Unfortunetly I do not recall if you will with what other brands of mechboxes)
J: Modify, great quality steel latch with an e-ring that prevents it from popping out. Also its notched so you can engage and release your piston without opening your mechbox.
