Couple more questions...

1)Does airsoft require ALOT of skill? I might have concluded that it all depends on the gun you have... and how much money you want to spend. I mean everyone ususally talks about how good there gun is and what not, but I havn't seen or heard of any stories about a daring 20-metre dash through hails of BB's to reach the enemy bunker and take out a group of opposing players...lol something like that? Or is that all bullcrap...
There's a saying in airsoft: Don't upgrade the gun, upgrade the player. A good player can compensate for a bad gun far, far more effectively than a good gun can compensate for a bad player. I've played with quite a few people who use stock guns and they are all great players.

Airsoft is less about the amount/quality of the equipment, and more about one's ability to use what equipment they have effectively. A fully kitted out n00b with a $3k PTW, $1,000 worth of tac gear, and all the frills is still just a n00b. The gun and gear won't help them much if s/he can't use them.

For example, I recently discovered that, for the past season, my gun was only shooting at 240 fps. I was shooting .25's out of it, so it was only shooting those at 210-220-ish. I held my own just fine in every game I played. I'm not trying to sound elite or anything, I'm just trying to say I adjusted how I played to improve myself. I didn't blame it on my equipment.
