PAL for airsoft or a special Airsoft PAL would just be to logical for our government to implement. As for it being cheaper to import if the PAL existed and we could bring them in legally... no they would just tax and tariff the shit out of them, but at least it would be legal.

*EDIT* Also they would want to control each weapon and would therefore require a marking or serial number scheme, but this could be implemented on entry to the country.

*EDIT 2* You don't need to draw a line, if it shoots a projectile above 100fps (or whatever arbitrary number) or looks like a real weapon in any way it's deemed airsoft and you need the PAL.
