I found a nice little flashlight in an electronic surplus store..
Costed me 30$....1.5W luxeon LED, plus a 8deg lens, in tempered glass. It makes a bright spot on the desk with a 100W incandescent light right above it.
It is guranty to be shock proof and water proof. Dropped from 20' on the concrete floor at work... not a scratch.
It is made by Aurora. Only draw back is that it works on AA batteries.
I will probably mod it to take rechargeable Li-ion cells instead.
Tail cap is not with a switch, but after inspection, it would be soo easy to install one...a little hole for the wires, and a bit of tape... voilà!
