**Cough** I have the Gen 3 kit **cough** and it's fine unless you want to run the M150 spring but there are very few events that allow that kind of power. (the gen3 kits come with preassembled gear boxes, btw)
As far as disagreeing with the price... I disagree with paying for a rifle that needs to be stripped and have all it's parts replaced with aftermarket ones just to get a reliable AEG with good power like some brands out there. I disagree with paying for an AEG that cracks, has to be held together with tape, has barrel wobble ...
Not to be an ass but by the time you address most of the issues in alot of other AEGs you aren't that far off a PTW in price. (except for the &#%& mags)
What you pay for is not the name IMO but alot of r&d to produce a quality AEG that is realistic, reliable, versatile, and strong as hell.
