When you fire that way you get gas on your hands. I don't have a KSC G18C, but I have a pair of KSC G19s and they would have the same problem if shot like that.
JTF2, there have been times I've shot while on my back, mainly because I dodged a stream of BBs and ended up on my back (recall once my AEG got hit but I didn't) so I drew my G19 and fired at the guys who shot at me. I got one and the other buggered off, so my tactic worked.
