Yup the end screws off and its threaded on the inside. I know there is a silencer or silencer adapter that does exist for it but I have no interest in it so I've never really tried to find it. The gun is already dead quiet compared to an AEG and since its a single pop instead of a long drawn out sound of an AEG firing full auto its incredibly hard to determine even which direction the sound is coming from. Outside in a wooded area where the foliage absorbs sound you have to be pretty close (within maybe half the maximum range of an upgraded M24) before you can really hear anything. Also the gun is already ~46" long so be prepared to carry around a massive gun.

Its a standard CW thread, not CCW like most AEG's though I don't know what the pitch of the thread is.
