That webbing is millllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllles away from VN stuff...
fastex buckle, padded belt etc etc...
As for the vest, if your 40in a med will fit but a large might be more confy for gaming.
If you want my advice take your time. Of course it might take you as long as 2 month to gather all the stuff you'll need but you'll look greater.
