Howdy folks,

I read through a couple threads on here about NV equipment, but it didn't really detail what would constitute a "recommended" model.

What I'm interested in is a NV monocular of somewhat respectable quality, while trying to keep the price in the $500 price point. I realise there is a lot of GEN1/1+ equipment both above and below this price, but I feel that for a hobby, $500 should be enough to get something of decent quality (ie: will last more than 2 hours), but won't break the bank.

I've been directed to Bushnell by a couple people, but I'm entertaining alternatives. Ideally, it would be something I can get from a brick-and-mortar company, preferably in Winnipeg, in case of warranty issues. I know that can limit my options, too.
