I own a SD5 so I'm here to help.

I've had it for up to 2 months or so and it shoots fine. I've been told the stock for the SD6 isn't as reliable but I might be talking to the wrong people. I feel the gun is fine the way it is so I won't comment on weather or not you should upgrade to metal body. I like TM version due to the adjustiable hop up and its really simple to use. The detail is very nice. Just a tip though remember to buy a strap if you need one because TM guns don't come with straps maybe pick up some spare mags.
