I'd recommend SureFires, because I like them; however, they do cost quite a lot more, especially when compared to the replicas. Like most things, you get what you pay for--when you compare a well-made light like any SureFire or BlackHawk, and then look at a knock-off, you'll see quite a big # of differences.

Anyhow, you mentioned a P90--the tricky thing with a P90 is that the location of the rail (on the P90 TR version) means that a remote pressure switch would snake down and be velcored on or around the thumbhole stock--this means that you may have a wire that is running around your detachable mag. So I'd actually suggest that you just use a regular thumb switch in this case.

For normal lights, they switch on usually via a twist action or a button press, or a combination of both. For some pistol lights, they have a toggle switch. If you want a simple and relatively inexpensive route, pick up any light with a 1-inch diameter and then mount it via either a scope ring or a flashlight ring mount.

There are a ton of differen types of lights, and they all have different uses and functions. Yes, I know this sounds a little silly, but it's true. Well, for me, I have a number of lights for different situations.

The StreamLights and the Wolf Eyes mentioned are fine, too.
