Yes, J-Tac are laser cut, closed cell foam. I believe mine are 15mm, but it's personal preference really. Take a look at your PC and see what you comfortably have room for. The thicker they are they bigger your profile, but the thinner they are the less they may fill out the PC. I thought mine were curved/contoured already when I got them, if not, they certainly are now.
