you dont, a red-dot, use a riser to get it above the sights. having a RDS right on the rails is crap because you gotta strain your neck to get your head close to the RDS....add goggles and headgear to that and its usless. you end up twisting the gun and screwing with the hop-up angle.

as for scopes, because of the magnification front sights dont really interfear with it, its like holding your finger infront of your nose, you can see right through it because the lense is wider then the front sights are.

BUT, you can get hi-rise scope rings....prolly will need to anyways to get the front lense so its not resting on the rails. higher=better.

RDS risers are dirt cheap and your best way to go.
