Methods I've seen with retailers over my course of time.
1) They buy from one or two sources who mass wholesales in Canada imports pistols like (WE).
2) They arrange with retailers across seas (ex RWA) to add a "longer inner barrel" to the pistol, thus resulting in higher FPS (As Pesto stated).
3) I see smaller companies importing stuff with boxes simply marked as "OVER 366" and take the chance they don't get booked.
4) "Sneak" in large crates of orders, i.e. you got a whole container of goods, but you can "hide" some stuff that wouldn't normally make it through, i.e. receiver sets.
Anyways, OT. Lots of retailers in Canada started to carry TM products, shop around. If you find a local store, go in and test feel them all!
