The various mysterious boxes sale by a number of retailers seems much better than this as the buyers at least get something (which may be quite useless).

For airsoft, most of the time I know eactly what I am looking for and will save up enough money to buy, rather than depends on luck to win something that I may not need.

Just my 2 cents.
