Visited the new store today (should it still be new after so many months LOL) to pick up some supplies for my wife as she's going to get back into playing after 5 years and the new retail location looks great. It's much cleaner and more open than the old place and while I was waiting, I was listening to the advice the sales staff gave to customers and it sounded pretty reasonable. No up selling of crap that was unneeded or unnecessary.
The ticketing system may not be the most efficient but it does allow staff ample time with each customer and for newbs with a lot of questions that's great. I do kind of wish they had one person to deal with anyone who just wants to grab and go (express counter?

) but I understand that type of balance is hard to achieve.
Darn the new location is within a 10 minute drive of my house.
