So today I became tired of have a $100 item sitting in the case and not having a use for it. Yes I'm talking about the over priced AngryGun power up Unit for your KWA MP7(I'm sure this will work on their other models). After opening the unit up I came to discover that the spring that added the pressure to the inner barrel that cause damage to your hop-up unit is actually a standard linear AEG Spring. So I proceeded cut away bit by bit away at the spring to allow the units barrel sit higher with less pressure be given to the barrel in the MP7. however after a little time and tweaking I discovered that there was still a substantial amount of pressure be delivered to the MP7's inner barrel. To alleviate this I added an additional spacer behind the units inner barrel. This caused the barrel to be preloaded before attaching it the the MP7. I then returned to cutting the spring down to were I would achieve about 2mm of pressure on to the inner barrel of the MP7. I have been running it like this through training and Game Days with great results and no more breakages. after you have put in a little time and love into these power up units they really are worth the investment. Hope this helps you guys out who are looking for a Quick FPS upgrade.
