Another test with the DuraCoat, I did my extra carbine barrel and my front sight in Parker at the same time as my G17 slide. Applied to sanded surfaces, not sand blasted.
Camera flash makes it look slightly blue, but it's a very close match to the parkerized flash hider & handguard cap.

**Safety Note - Fumes - I've inhaled a lot of things over the years (some weren't too bad

), but to anyone considering using DuraCoat, this stuff has extremely nasty fumes, especially the TruStrip degreaser "Vapors harmful or fatal". Make sure you are in a well ventilated area & wear a mask.
