Yeah I used some pliers to take it off. It worked!.
Ill see if I can do a breakdown of this whole mess once I'm done. It's more work than what I was anticipating.
The only other thing that gave me trouble was... The replacement barrel I have doesn't lock on to the upper receiver. The old one stayed in place and it was easy to tighten the delta ring.
I had to wedge a key in place to keep the new outer barrel from moving while I tighten the delta ring. Is there something I'm missing here?.
I also noticed that the hop-up sort of keeps the outer barrel from rotating freely.
