The odd thing is, if your Glock was firing in bursts, then it would seem your hammer sear has problems.

Disassemble you Glock as see if the trigger bar is also functioning properly (as you've said the Glock blows back, so I'd assume the hammer would be cocked). The small spring should be pulling the trigger bar up which allows it to release the sear.

You could also do a few test runs of cocking the hammer and releasing it with the trigger to test out if the sear is functioning as it's supposed to.
