Never cut a barrel unless you've got access to a machine shop with the proper equipment to re-crown the barrel.
I'd suggest a ARS hop-up rubber with a shredder's concave spacer.
It is possible to fit a Trigger Master into the full sized versions of these guns... but I'm not sure how easy it would be to put it inside the 97B...
