10A is enough, but only if your using NiCd or NiMH. Remember that NiMH and NiCd packs generally DON'T have enough amperage to run the motor on your AEG, that's why you gain ROF when you switch from an 8.4v mini to an 8.4v large battery. The large battery offers more amperage.
LiPo's are capable of putting out more amperage than required, so switching between a 7.4v 20c 1600mah and 7.4v 20c 4900mah will have no effect on your ROF.
