Yea from my limited info anything "sportsline" has terrible internals. Not sure about BBs but from what I know .12 ones are just for dicking around with ye-clear-plastic-neon-nosers...
Hope u get it fixed man, but really u should be saving ur dollars for a nice one when u turn 18.
