AR accessories bolt on fine (at least to mine). Now for some scope risers you're going to have an issue since there is less space between the rail and the irons. An EOTech 511 or 512 will co-witness fine but a 555 will be a bit tall. An Aimpoint Micro from Huang will be too low on the low rail and too high on the high.
The rail is keyed so the foregrip and upper receiver lock together instead of the more common delta ring type attachment you see on something like a M4. So yes changing the front end out could be impossible. I'm not sure what you'd want to change too, and it seems anyone with a M4 is scabbing rails onto their rifle and pulling the front sight for a gas block so I can't really see that being a negative.
At the end of the day it's an airsoft gun so the only difference between it and most other AR variants is just cosmetic. At the same time if you like the look go for it.
