Issues with KWA USP
 

Hi guys. An issue recently arose with my USP. Before when racking the slide the blowback chamber and feeder nozzle would stick to the feeding ramp before releasing and being sprung back to it's resting position. I would assume that this was when it was functioning correctly. Now when racking the slide the blowback chamber always stays in the resting position. I only noticed this after the gun had been fired as there seemed to be a lack of kick. Has anyone seen this before? If the information is not clear I will be uploading some pictures when i get home from work tonight. Any help is greatly appreciated.

try to manually pull it forward with your fingers, it may be jammed
you lube your gas right?

I have tried pulling it forward manually and it moves freely. Also I put silicone oil into my propane tank every 4-5 fills.

hmm thats weird... I have a kwa usp as well and I haven't seen that how much oil do you put in your propane? do you manually lube movement points in your gun after you have used it (example during a general cleaning)?

I use about 3 drops. When doing my strip cleaning I remove all old lube and replace it with fresh, but have never disassembled the blowback chamber. I'm curious as to whether there is a part missing as the nozzle moves forward and back quite easily.

sounds like damaged/broken float valve/rocket valve/cylinder bulb, theres a million different names for it, its a valve inside the nozzle that directs gas to the blowback action after the BB leaves the barrel, I dont think that the nozzle not staying forward has anything to do with it, it stays on some of my guns, not on others and they all work the same, its the gas pressure that holds it forwards when firing anyways

So after setting the gun aside for a bit I decided to take a look at it again last night. Turns out you have to have bbs in the magazine for them to grab the notch on the bottom of the loading nozzle for it to stay forward. Man do I feel dumb :banghead:
