need input

ok i'm looking to get one of the following

Classic Army M15 A1 XM177 E2 (Metal Body)

or

C.A.S. Version G&G M4 CQB ADVANCED

or

ICS-141 M4 S.I.R. Retractable Stock
(WITH NEW CANADIAN TRANSPARENT TINTED RECEIVER DESIGN.)

which would be the best right out of the box?

Amos September 8th, 2009 23:19

CA XM177 E2 hands down.

Styrak September 8th, 2009 23:28

The one with the metal body, CA M15.
Not just because of the metal body (which is a huge factor) but also because it would be higher quality.

I like my G&G CAS Version just fine, but even I know the CA would be much better. And more expensive...? Wouldn't it cost more than the G&G or ICS? Much more?

graff September 8th, 2009 23:42

the G&G and ICS are both around 450 and the CA is 500

TokyoSeven September 8th, 2009 23:48

If the cost is not an issue, I would recommend spending the additional 50 dollars and purchase the Classic Army.

Darklen September 8th, 2009 23:49

You'd save money in the long run with the CA. The $50 difference is easily covered in the upgrades to a metal body (+$200) not to mention the better internals. The only issue I'm aware of with CA's is they have(had) crappy pistons. If they still do, $20-25 fix.

pusangani September 8th, 2009 23:54

and 500 for a metal CA is a good deal to boot!

thanks for the recommendation on the CA. now, where is the best place to get batteries? from what i read i need a mini nunchuk style battery for the Classic Army M15 A1 XM177 E2

L473ncy September 9th, 2009 18:43

cheapbatterypacks.com

Either buy a premade pack or make a custom pack.

8.4 V, Nunchuck design, 20 AWG wire, female deans connector and you're good to go.

ok thanks for the help, does anyone know of a lipo that can be jammed in the handguard on the m15? or would i be looking at something like the buffer tube that 007 sells for the m4?

Erennert September 9th, 2009 19:32

This would most likely fit: http://www.airsoftgi.com/images/airsoft_SOC_LiPo.jpg

Something along those lines.

I've got an order for battery's and BB's from AirsoftGI, and now they are giving me there Prohibited to ship bullshit.

does anyone know "around" how many shots a 7.4v 800mAH li-po would get out of a stock AEG rifle?

also the 7.4v should be fine to run on stock internals?
