TF7?

Well, here I go asking again.
Is the tactical force tf7-well r4 mp7 a good gun
Heres the info...

Heres where I plan to buy it from...

As far as the gearbox goes, its a metal gearbox, a v3 I have heard.
What do you guys think?

Aside from the neatness factor (if you like the MP7 pistol/smg thing)...they are utter sh*t.

They're underpowered, sound like they're dying even with a fresh charged battery and they parts have a creaky/lousy fit.

If you can get past all that...knock yourself out. If you consider those traits to make a "good-enough" AEG...sadly, you're missing out on a whole other world...

There isint really a definition of a good gun since if you have a 100% clone you can just modify the hell out of it and make it perform better than the original but TM has a way better version of the mp7

osir January 19th, 2009 21:55

Very Bad gun the TF7 , already got 2 and both Broke unless a month !

Styrak January 19th, 2009 21:57

Also, it's not a V3 gearbox. It's a mechbox design of it's own, really an AEP gearbox, not an AEG gearbox.

I disagree. It is very easy to define what a good airsoft gun is. The TF7 isn't one of them.

Er, AFAIK, there isn't a heck of a lot you can do to an MP7.

@SomeRandomGuy,

Wait 3 years, save your money, then buy a real AEG that isn't going to break on you.

baker_Jeff January 19th, 2009 22:31

Only 1 customer has yet to notify me with problems with one of these. I wouldn't really recommend them.

SomeRandomGuy January 19th, 2009 23:13

Really? aw man, the mp7 is awesome.

Believe me, if I knew where to get a marui mp7, and could get it, I'd get it.
Also, I'm okay with it being a smaller gun, they still make hardened springs for them, or I could just use 0.12 gram bbs because the power is low enough, and there is a store in Surrey that can custom make batteries for you, which I could do if the rof is kinda slow for me. I think I might try it.

NO. BAD.

0.12's are HORRIBLE. And bad for your gun because they're generally shit and malformed.

Kuro_Neko January 19th, 2009 23:16

No one makes good 0.12's. And using bad 0.12's will damage your gun (not to mention they don't shoot straight). Go with 0.20's minimum.

.12's will general destroy anything that isn't a shitty Walmart/Canadian Tire gun.

The mechbox in the MP7 (TM and clone) isn't designed to be upgraded. It's possible -but only if it's done well and correctly.

You can get a TM MP7 in the classifieds on this forum. You just have to wait until you are 18. ASC does not generally support the aquisition of airsoft guns by minors. So don't expect anyone to help you to get one.

Actually TM does.
But no one buys those.

johjoh January 19th, 2009 23:45

Like others said wait 3 years and buy a GOOD gun not some craptiastic gun lol

and save up your money for that time so you can afford the very high end gun, make sure to go to games and try out what kind of weapon you like first intstead of paying 500+$ for a model you dont like the feel of it

dpvu January 19th, 2009 23:53

It's a decent CQB/backup weapon but its power is limited so don't expect a lot out of it.

SomeRandomGuy January 20th, 2009 00:12

I know its power is limited, I don't expect a whole lot out of it,I just like mp7s in general (and they look like the smg in halo, but thats not important). Besides, I'll be happy as long as I can feel the shots.
