OMG... Airsoft in the streets
 

Well here is the problem:
Some of my friends came up with a great idea to play airsoft in the streets of Calgary in about a week. They apperently have done this once before at night and didnt get caught. So there will be 6 to 10, 15/16 year olds running around with Krakens, and Broxa's (which are all spray painted black), in front of people's houses and at a public park. :banghead:

So I tried to talk them out of it but they wont listen. They say that "No one goes outside in that neighborhood", and "Nothing happened last time so nothing is going to happen this time".....

I really need some concrete information to help convince them that this is a bad idea. Laws against airsoft in public areas, video's of people who got caught by the police, anything that would help change their minds. I just got to get them to realize what the consequences of their actions could be.

Call the cops (Not 911, call the local police station) and inform them about this, tell them you think your friends are about to do something VERY stupid with their TOY BB guns... They'll give you advice from there on.

Who knows, you may save one of their lives by doing this.

call the police station is best option, they will most likely have their guns taken away, which is good, if you just stop them this time, they will find another spot, to do it at another time, some one could get killed, it has happened! cops showing up always stops kids from doing shit like this... well smart kids at least, the ones who do it again deserve the lead that is coming their way

or you can kick them in the balls and tell them that they are fucking dumb asses

Kids in the US litterally got shot and died for that....and I dont think you wanna die at 16 for that.... And the parents will be reponsible for that,they bought them, since minors should be supervised by adults when using airsoft guns.....( it is stamped on the side of most clear guns, and in the instruction manual....

There is a thread called " underage airsoft and you" here on Asc....

I talked about 4 months ago to a police officier about that, and he told me that if we were caught playing with " bb guns" in a public area, like a park, neighborhood, ( on public property) they would confiscate the guns, and maybe, in the worst case, have us arrested, or bring us to the police station.... ( and one of us could get shot)....

So dont do it, or at least go in a forest, away from houses, to play, because alot of people freak out ,even if its a clear plastic gun...

simply man up and even though you might get ostracized for a bit do the right thing anyway. tell the cops, tell the parents anything to stop this. 2 reasons come to my mind:

1. cops show up and kill the kids
2. airsoft gets a bad name and gets banned in canada (extreme i know but still)

even though your friends might hate you for it, do it anyway. cause trust me, if they want to play when they are older, and words gets out it was these kids who did this, they will:

a) never be allowed to play anywhere with any of us
b) i wouldn't be surprised if they get roughed up a bit for being so dumb.

Yeah, it looks like calling the police station is going to be the best solution to this problem. :sigh:

Yes, given the fact Calgary is having more and more gang shootings the last thing your "friends" should be doing is...what they are planning to do.

dont call them the night of, call ahead of time tell them that they are using TOYS that look kinda like real guns... that way there will be NO shooting! dont want deaths just a lesson learned

Where the hell are their parents? Why aren't they doing anything?
Why aren't they all thinking and using their brains?

I can see the news heading now. Last night 5 15/16 year olds were shot dead by police.....parents sue police............airsoft banned.

that's above most people now-a-days, it sickens me. damnet people, spank your kids! kids run the show, give em a good spanking! don't abuse the child, but spank the fuckers!

I dunno guys, letting the cops shoot his friends might be quite good for the genepool. If they think its a good idea playing around with real looking toy guns in a city street there's obviously not the potential for a cancer cure amongst them.

Call the cops when they get out there and let them deal with it however they feel is necessary.
