TF16 Extra Mag
 

Hey ppl

I have a Tactical Force 16 and i want to get another mag for it. i found a Hi-Cap 450 R Magazine for M16 on mach1airsoft.com. Can someone tell me if this mag is compatible for the TF16.

i would like to know as well, because i have found some mags on http://www.airsoftgi.com that look like they would fit but i want to know for certain before ordering them.

I thought the TF-16 took standard Marui-compatible mags. Does it not? Or are the mags the OP is pointing to not TM compatible?

I urge you not to order from Airsoft G.I. I ordered a Red dot from them 2 yrs ago and never recieved it !

And no, it's not TM compatible so you can't buy normal mags for it.

I also purchased several things from AirsoftGI and I always had good service and relatively fast shipping (~1 week/1 week and a half).

I believe that TF16 mags are TM compatible, but don't take my word for it as I've never handled any.

I read they aren't compatible....maybe I'm wrong.

I've handled a TF16 at a local shop and it looked like it had a standard TM-compatible hi-cap mag on it. I must admit I didn't look at the mag in much detail. I was more into examining the lousy construction and shitty materials the rest of the gun was made of.

I know the TF5 is marui compatible if that helps at all.

Listen ..after reading this thread, I went to check to see if the 450 rnd mag. from so n' so would fit in the TF-16..and it does..I just tried it..D-boys well not so much but as I said the G&G 450 rnd. mag. fit's.. as for function..well I'll have to get back to you on that one ..it's late and a test firing here in the basement will put me in alot of HOT WATER with the wife..considering I just recently put my babes to bed..but I'm sure that it would work..when the sun is up and everyone is awake I'd be more than happy to test then..Good?..alrighty then..EDWARD..

The TF-16 I have is not compatible with CA, Dboys, MAG, or STAR m4 mags (lows/mids/ and highcaps). The magwell isn't long enough (front to back of mag), the mags I have tried were all chaffing against the rear of the magwell.

What are you guys talking about? The TF16 is mostly TM compatible.
From the stock to the upper. The barrel with sights are fixed. But the gearbox is the same shit as any other v2 china box.

The reason hy any other mags won't fit is because of the lower reciever. The lower recieved of the magwell is tightened a bit. Now if you were to sand it down inside, it will take any other mags.
