The G&G M4 Flashhider and the Halo Silencer

Hi everyone,

Quick question; does anyone know if the Gemtech QD Halo Silencer (Mad Bull or whatever) will fit on the default M4 flashhider on a G&G m4?
I have a G&P Silencer (QD) and it doesn't fit the G&G flashhider.

Any suggestions/help would be much appreciated =)

the madbull HALO silencer goes over the tip of the gun over the flashider and doesn,t need a thread it should fit a g&g m4

It should fit. The halo's adapter just slips over the existing flashhider and screws on. No need to take apart your AEG.

I haven't confirmed in person, but a buddy reported in that the Halo would not tighten up properly on his KWA M4A1 flash hider.

I might get the chance to eye-ball it tomorrow night.

I can confirm that it's worked on just about every other "normal" flashhider I've tried it on.

Best of luck,

Tys

Re: HALO compatibility

I use a KWA KM4A1 with a HALO suppressor. I had to file the stock (orange) flash hider a little bit to get it to fit, but it didn't take much filing at all... I think it was slightly too fat simply on account of the extra orange paint.

I can also confirm that the HALO does NOT properly fit over a Madbull Aggressive Compensator (http://www.madbullairsoft.com/Englis...products_id=99)
I mean, the width is fine, but it's longer than the stock KWA flashhider, so when the HALO's screwed together, it leaves a sizable threaded gap in the suppressor compared to the KWA stock flashhider, which screws together perfectly flush.

+ 1 for the MadBull compensators.

Installed a setup on a custom built M16.
The silencer will fit correctly, but there is a little gap between the silencer body and the detachable section. Nothing extreme, but it fits properly.

Also tried on a KA birdcage type, ICS stock hider. All fit ok, but with different spacings (I guess that is it the point of having a screw-on versus twist lock/pin lock)

it will but be warned that this is damn heavy.

freand of mine uses it on some no name M4S and its a huge diffrance how front heavy it is.
