WE 1911 TACTICAL USERS! PLEASE READ!

I have a few questions for ya.

Firstly, have any of you experienced broken thumb safeties?

Secondly, have any of you experienced problems with the hammer breaking?

Thirdly, describe any problems (not mag, or bushing related.. I already know about those ;) ) you may have encountered. Something silly like lanyard loops breaking, slides exploding, etc...

Lastly, post some pics of your modified WE Tactical if you have nothing else to add.

Yeah, I didn't buy one when I had the chance :( ... getting one very soon. Possibly next week. Need to get a few things squared away before I go all cowboy with it :p

haha lol good to see your checking all the possibilities out though

Yep, I've seen broken thumb safeties. The little triangular key that connects both sides togther broke. The left side still functions, but the right just flops around.

Who needs safeties anyways? If you have to jerk it out, you need to use it and safeties just get in the way. ;)

For the thumb safety, read the manual. I'm serious. It's the first time i see a safety only when the gun is loaded and armed. It was a first time for me. Still working great no flaws on any mags (3), safety's still okay after 40 mags trough her.

Mac, was this on the newer models? I've been told they're much better quality than last batch..

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

Do you know if TM hicapa safeties work on these?

Never tried it. The owner of the gun cared little for a safety anyways.
