Kart M14 EBR problems/ KA110rnd mag issues

Alright guys heres the scoop, I'm having some problems with my Kart M14 EBR.

For starts i have 5 KA M14 110rnd mags, which have been giving me problems, for starts i cant seem to put 110 rounds in them more like 40... it also doesn't seem to be feeding right which brings me to problem number 2

My M14 doesn't seem to want to fire fully, when i put the high-cap that came with it in and put it on auto it seems to skip afew shots it will fire say every other shot or something like that, but other times it will work just fine.

with my KA mags it wont fire at all, so I'm guessing its all mag problems. when i press the catch on the feed end of the mag only 1 BB will come out, sometimes more.

I'm sure its a normal problem but id like to get it all sorted out. any help you guys can give would be greatly appreciated

Put some sillicone oil in the BB well, load it full with BB's to spread out the oil, and try that out.

If they're still misfeeding you might have to shave off some of the BB retainer. KA mags are known for that.

I had the same issue with KA VN M16 plastic mags.

The springs in all them were getting bbs jammed
in the coils/ and or the bbs were just getting all
cluster–f!@#'d all through out the mag. I tried oil
and lots of things but nothing helped much. If you
fill the mag, shake it, if you hear rattles the bbs
are stuck in spots and those gaps are misfeeds
about to happen. You have to whack the mag to
get them to "spring" loose from a jam.

I won't buy KA mags again, burn them.

alright ill give that a shot, any idea why i cant get 110 rnds in them?

same problem with mags here too, not sure what brand the mags are though, kart should specify what mags they are compatible with lol

I'm also having some problems with the firing of the gun, i will pull the trigger and it will either fire once then nothing or not fire at all, I'm guessing its the stock battery, anyone have any advice on a good battery to use?

oh that note wtf size is that battery connector?

CheapBatteryPacks.com

Cheap batteries, but they're very good quality.

Do have the same feeding issu on full auto. Even with low cap. Wonder if it the nozzle mouvement that is too short. Thus blockin the BBs in in the mag well

As for the mag. Throw those plastics mag in the recycle bin and buy metal one. The plastic are a waste of money and time. Bougth a box of 10, the 10 are shit.

I test 3 brand so far: TM, KA(metal one) and deepfire. Both three are equal in term of performance, reliabily and surface finish but the deepfire ar 7$ at red wolf.

But even with those mag you have to mod your Kart m14 mag weel to ensure real reliability.

I'm currently preparing a fully documentted solution with pics for your problem, It will be finish this week.

Stay tuned

Okay, here how I fixed my M-14 so it can shoot with TM and aftermarket Brands Lo-Caps. Wish I could have posted it in the AEG Solutions section.

Do this MOD at your own risk.
It as work very well for mine. If you have questions or comments, feel free to send me a PM

damn thats a complicated mod, i may jsut send this puppy off to the guntech

as it stands in base form wich mags work best with an unmodded kart?

i also need to rewire the batt connectors to a biger wire, noticed it was getting hot when i was messing around with my connector ends

Mist3r.B July 14th, 2008 10:54

The only mag that will work good with Kart ar the KART Hi-cap taht come with it.

But I also have a lazy ass solution but it hasn't proved to be has reliable has youd want it in a fire figth.

I''ll post-it tonigth

Viperfish July 14th, 2008 23:03

iv found several problems so far, the mag is just one, it seems while on semi auto i cannot fire it super fast otherwise it will skip a beat. Im running out of ideas on this one.

Mist3r.B July 15th, 2008 10:12

HEre how I first fix the mag problem. It worked well while shoting in the bakyard but broke after 10 min of game (murphy's law). It do tehe job but is not very reliable. That's why I don't realy recommand it.
S
There it is. BE CAREFULL NOT TO OBSTRUC THE PIPE WHEN PUTTING THE METTAL THING.
