Cyma CM-028- Second Edition (Pre-Upgraded)
 

Quick question,

If buyairsoft.ca is selling the Cyma CM-028 for $230.00 with the clear body then I guess this is not classified as a replica. If this is the case, anyone can import this AEG, bring it home and paint her up. Does anyone know of an Airsoft company in the US or oversea's that sells this gun? If so, I bet with shipping it would still be $100.00 cheaper. This AEG could be a backup gun with just a bit of flat black paint.

If anyone know of a site please post.

Doesn't matter if it's clear. Clear AEGs can still get siezed. My buddy had a clear MP5 not make it through customs.

Did they give a reason why it was taken?

At first they were selling almost all clear AK's, I'm pretty sure they've got a specific arrangement with CBSA and with Aftermath so that they can get them in like this as it is not listed on the Aftermath website.

Probably not the best interpretation or defence possible. Replace Buyairsoft.ca with A&A and the logic kind of falls apart.

I know some people have said that clear is ok, but should CBSA choose to seize it, you're screwed. Past appeals to CITT, which handles appeals against CBSA seizure has consistently stated that physical dimensions and detailing trumps colour (or there lack of).

I will be the first of this animel test for the cyma ak, coz I just ordered 1 from them, dont know if its 2 late to cancel the trade....=(

People have already teste out such as I, it's a good starter AEG but if you're into realism & want it to be able to compete with high-end AEGs you'll have to dish out some more $$ to make it work.

Their prices suck. Big time. I mean - the tactical one is $260. AA has pretty much the same gun, NON clear for $299. And AA prices are also fairly high. So Buyairsoft is usually a ripoff.

But Cyma is great for the money. I run their mechbox in my TM. Smooth, emptying mag after mag, thousands of rounds. Soon to get a power boost.

I had no ides A&A sold the see through AK. I will have to go check that out. I have also been told of a place in Ontario that sells this AEG for $153.00 so we are getting closer to a price I would spend on a cheap backup. Thanks guys for responding, all good info.

Yea, it was too similar to the real thing.

Also you can get the Aftermath Kraken a rebrand of the Cyma for 150.00 at Bass Pro!!!!!!!!
If they have any more or get any more.

You could replace the body with one of the stamped steel ones from Huang

except every time I PM huang he doesn't respond.
