Redwolf KJW Para P14 mess up
 

Does anyone have a KJW Para P14 with an adjustable hopup?

I ask becuase Version 1's do not have hopups. Only version 2's do. BUT version 2's have not be released.

I recently ordered one from Redwolf (under version 1) and Mine has an adjustable hopup. Redwolf messed up and sent me a gun that has not realeased yet


Im wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Er, what? I thought KJW Para has had an adjustable hopup for a while now. It's not exactly a new gun.

The original KJW Para does not have an adjustable hopup. That was reserved for the Version 2.

Where does it say that the KJW Para with hopup hasn't been released? In regards to the gun stats (ie. presence of hopup) given on RW, they have known to be wrong one more than one occasion.

That says no Hopup, 2 players that I know in the states have no hopup in thier's and mine has Adjustable hopup.

KJW P14 with adjustable hopup has been available since around 2006, according to one review I've found. Another suggest that 2005 and before, it had an fixed hopup. I'm inclined to think that if RW made any mistakes, it's in the description on their page, which like I said, wouldn't be the first time.

Have those two players you know actually checked the manual/disassembled their P16 to check for a fixed hop? Because a fixed hopup typically isn't visible unless you take the barrel assembly apart.

Yes they have. Niether have adjustable hopups. They both rechecked when I recieved mine to make sure.

Shouldn't you be happy about this?

Maybe Redwolf simply didn't update their site since they got new KJW Para P in stock.

I am happy about it, I just wanted to know if they had be released and Redwolf didn't update or if they sent out a ver2 on accident.

Clarification.

So one more time, it looks like they just didn't update that page after the release of the adjustable hopup version sometime between 2005 and 2006. There's a KJW P14 review on Arnie dating back to early 2006 about the gun having adjustable hopup, look it up if you don't believe me.
