Tell me I didn't waste my money...
I bought a couple paintball face masks made by JT....
Since I 've been browsing the forums, I've seen a lot of posts about googles, stressing not to buy "Cheap shit"... These masks were about $40 canadian each. Do you think these lens' will hold up to airsoft? I hope so. I'm not too keen on the idea of taking one and shooting it point blank range to test it... |
Yes. We use PB goggles all ze time!
|
Excellent.
|
it's the goggles can stop a paintball, they'll stop an airsoft BB!
|
FYI, paintball goggles are rated to stop a paintball to 300 fps muzzle velocity. (it says so right on the goggle straps) :p
I've own many pairs of JT's. I would not wear anything else made from the paintball industry, call me old school but back then Scotts and Vents were kicking around. |
JT is the way to be
|
Good stuff. Then I made the right choice.
|
what about firing range safety glasses? (they were free)
|
you can wear them as well.
They are probably polycarbonate anyways, those materials stops shotgun shells |

I thought those were for stopping things like flying bits of unexploded black powder, oh well.
Need something that protects the rest of the face I think. Getting shot in the nose hurts. |

as long as you don't smell like him.....
anyways, I bought the full face rigs because I caught a couple shots on bare skin and I thought "Fuck that, I don't want to catch one of these in the face". |
Usualy the "cheap" reffers to the quality, not the strength, cheapo paintball goggles will usualy fog like a bitch, where some expensive pairs do not, some do, but you got a better %
