Leapers 3-12x44mm Accushot Compact

Anybody out there have personal experience with this scope? Thinking of grabbing one and wondering if it has any flaws I should know about. And will the reticle appear black when not illuminated?

And does anybody know any obvious difference between these besides about 150 bucks?
