KSC G17 - Slide Won't Lock Back
 

So I'm having problem after problem with my KSC G17, the current problem? The slide wont lock back when the magazine is empty- even with a fresh fill of propane. It appears the slide isn't blowing back far enough, sometimes it even dosent blow back far enough to load another bb.

I've got hi-flow valves in both my mags, steel slide/outer barrel, upgraded recoil spring/guide, and a firefly rocket valve.

have u lubed the slide recently? but it sounds like a nice set up.

try to fire the gun while holding the mag battom with your other hand. It could be a sealing problem between the mag and the expansion chamber. If this solves the problem then you need a new mag catch which we are talking about in PM.

The other possibility from the info you have given is you might need to lube the slide rails or depending on what recoil rod you have .. you could have burrs on the recoil rod casuing more friction thus slowing or stopping the slide from going all the way back. Make sure your recoil rod works smoothly and without binding. Maybe put a drop of oil on the recoil rod for good measure.
