Upgradeability of the G36c?
 

I am getting my second AEG and after much contemplation and going back and forth through Armalites, AUGs, AKs, etc. I now am thinking of getting a Classic Army G36c. I plan on upgrading this gun (left my last gun completely stock and want something to be able to fall back on) and would like an easy platform, though I dont want an armalite. Since it is a pretty popular gun, I hope I am correct in assuming it is easy to find upgrade parts. I want to make it suitable for both woodland games and CQB events. How accurate would it be with a tightbore barrel? I dont want it to be the be all end all of accurate guns, but I would like to pose some kind of threat on the field. Also, would using a mini battery hold it back from achieving a good FPS of around 320-350?

You can use this battery without any modification in a CA G36C.(you need to modify a TM G36C to use this battery though)This is what i am using.Nice ROF and it should last you a day(sometimes even two days).

A prometheus ms110sp (or ms100sp) spring is all you need(you also need metal bushings if buy a TM G36C)
If anything breaks later,you can upgrade the broken part at that point.
Since ms110sp is not a very strong spring,everything should work well for a long period of time. :duke:

Well...a nice thing about the G36C is the ease that you can change the barrel...stock...grip...etc..

Very modular, if you want there's also the RAS grips :-D

Mostly because there were other questions asked, not necesserily upgrade-related.

This is exactly what I am using in my TM G36C. I have used the prometheus ms110sp spring on my last couple guns and its a great spring and hasn't broke a single thing in my mechboxs.

I know a few other guns by Classic Army come with metal bushings, etc. and are ready to take some more heavy upgrades and a 9.6v battery out of box (well actually the M15A4 CQB is the only one that I am positive of coming like that). Is this the same case for the G36c or not?

Also, any thoughts on tightbores?

I put a tightbore im my CA36k and it was a freaking sniper rifle after that (not really). I put a systema 6.03 tightbore in and I was actually able to use the included scope very well. I know mine wasnt a g36c, but I hope that helps

CA G36C already got metal bushings,so you don't have to change them.
A tightbore will help you to get more FPS,but not that much for accuracy.(especially for G36C ,since it is a short gun)

A CA G36K with 6.03 (or even 6.01) tightbore could be a better choice if you need more accuracy and don't mind the added length for CQB.
