New Laws????

So I have just tried twice to order a gun from Evike. They say now that they will not ship guns to Ontario?? No answer as to why either. Seems odd to me, I have bought many guns from them in the past with no issues and this one shoots at a listed 380 fps. Does anyone know what is going on?

Does it have the Canada compliant symbol on the product page?

It's not that it isn't Canada Compliant, CBSA has just refused to let gun shipments through to Ontario at this point, without any announcement of their intention to do so it seems.

Just ask a reputable retailer outside of Ontario to get the guns for you.

That doesn't make a lot of sense. I just had a Marushin M2 get to me a few days ago. Ordered from Octagon, and I'm in Thunder Bay, so that's definitely Ontario.

Glad to know that the CBSA will still arbitrarily fuck people over at random instead of having even a single concrete guideline on any of this shit.

It was an m40 a3 400fps and said Canadian compliant. So great now we are back to the old days. There has been no consistency with CBSA at all, ever.

Nuts

This has gotten way out of hand! I ordered a BB shooting unit for my 1/16th scale RC tank. They wouldn't let it in the country. A total WTF moment!!!

Just spoke to a Toronto retailer recently and he said only Ontario CBSA is so troublesome.
Other places like Vancouver still OK.

It is just the old saying that different CBSA staff can have difference interpretation of gun laws and they just simply detained or stopped the import items for "investigation", which have no time limit.

Best bet is you should try to buy from retailers in Canada.

One step forward, two steps back ...click, BOOM!

CBSA needs to be sued by someone.

Issue is figuring out who actually to sue, these sub-agencies just juggle the buck of liability into limbo.

I'm guessing we'll have to wait it out until things settle... I wanted to get new parts too.

Just tested the ordering on evike and I’m not getting the red banner
