Bring airsoft guns into the US for an event.

Has anyone ever brought their airsoft guns over the border to the US for an event?
I assume you would stop at the Canadian customs to get documentation that the guns are from Canada for re-entry, but would there be any problems going across US customs? Do you have to attach an orange tip? Etc.
