Real-steel aftermarket parts on airsoft guns

When I searched this term I got no results, so I came to my final option of actually making a post.

Now, since real-steel parts will often fit on an airsoft gun, will after-market parts meant for real-steel guns also fit airsoft? Specifically, I'm looking at a certain foregrip meant for a real AK that has handy rails on the top and bottom for vertical handgrip and holo-sight to go on my on-the-way TM AK-47.

I'm assuming I'm correct but they say assumption is the mother of all fuck-ups.

Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance.

A dremel and a lot of patience will make anything fit

Generally speaking, most real steel parts fit onto their airsoft counterparts.

But as Mon-Keigh pointed out, if it doesnt fit, dremel it.

i remember a couple of people in the past getting real ak wood foregrips and having to do work to them before they would fit perfectly. i dont think it will be an easy drop in accessory. you wont know till you try it or unless someone here has experience with the same foregrip you plan on using.

I'm told that AK foregrips are a fairly easy dremel and file fix. You can find examples for a little money so it shouldn't be expensive to experiment a bit.

What about slides and such for GBB guns? Would real ones fit on airsofts?

Um, no.

slides, frames and barrels, no. grips for real steel pistols will work though, and I think someone added real steel 1911 parts like safety and main spring housing to a wa 1911, but that was a long time ago so I can't remember what and who did.

if slides and barrels and frames were to fit on a gbb, pigs would fly, and you would be able to modify it to fire real ammo if u got the mag. all airsoft guns are impossible to modify into firing real ammo, so no would be the answer to ur question.

Theoretically, you could modify it. It just wouldn't be a airsoft gun anymore. You'd be better off making it from scratch.

Also, you wouldn't need a mag. Most guns can be loaded one bullet at a time...

i wouldn't think that slides fit exactly, due to the entirely different firing mechanisms employed. It's possible, however I highly doubt that you could simply slide out the firing pin assemply in the real steel, and input your own gas valve assembly. This is all guess work, however, by no means actually researched.
