According to Gaurder, their Elcan is now out at $150 USD. While not perfect, it looks pretty sweet.

For some reason i hate that design. Maybe because it reminds me of a garbage can. :P

It's been out for a few weeks now. I'm actauly thinking of grabbing some for my c8's as they look like a cheap alternative to the real think and a quality alternative to the other horrible replicas

Hmm, I wonder how the eye-relief is. How long did it take for them to make an RDS out of their ACOG? I hope they come out with an ELCAN RDS soon.

the 4x NSN-ACOG is G&P not gaurder.

I with they could somehow simulate the actual elcan reticle maybe with batteries instead of tritium

The Samurai replica Elcan is really sweet, and quite solid.

The "ELKEN" is up for about 125CAD plus shipping and whatnot on eHobby Asia right now. Might pick one up!

they look nice from the side, but look funny from a front or rear view. how the rubber housing covers part of the lense.

This thing looks like a piece of crap! The lower mount doesnt even resemble the c79. At least with the samurai elcan the only differences are the reticle and missing numbers on the elevation knob.

I have to agree with those who say the Samurai appears to be a better replication of the true thing.. I have the samurai, and have had it next to the real thing...damn near identical..the guarder while it appears to be a nice attempt just doesnt do it. However it is LESS than the samurai..people's choice..a sorta looks like or a reallly damn close replica :)
