Or go outside and throw it at shit, slide it on some gravel, use it in day to day actions, like propping open doors, poking the possum out of your attic again ect. |

I usually use tamya paints (found in most rc hobby stores) and a small brush. After you dip the brush just a bit take the excess paint off stroking it on a paper towel and then gently start painting the edges or other areas you want to accentuate on your gun. Less is more and you can always build on the effect. Check out some videos on youtube, look for "dry brush weathering". Here are some images of my M4 using this technique. I exaggerated on the barrel a bit but the lower and upper is more subdued. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...6bd27b48bc.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...970a18f86d.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

As for aging, you could rub a scotch brite pad on the sides to give it wear. Don't go too crazy with it though, can end up looking too cartoony if you go overboard. |
Remove stock, sand, restain with a nice walnut colour.

With a hicap mag, it needs a fair few BB's in the mag to feed properly, otherwise a small handful will always remain in it.
You've got a few WW2 guns and some kit, are you aware of the big WW2 community? http://ontarioairsoftwwiireenactors....8307bda7381bf4 Up near Ottawa, we have our big annual event in September, OP Woodsman... check it out: https://sites.google.com/site/operationwoodsman/home |
