Spiral wire
 

So does anyone know where I can find 16 awg two connection spiral wire, sort of like the old telephone cables.

I would like to have spiral wire so that hopefully it will take up the slack in my crane stock when I move it forward and back. because right now it looks like red and black spaghetti and keep getting the wires crimped and damaged.

Just make it yourself.

Figure out how much of a coil you need. Take that much wire and slip the same length of heat shrink over it.

Wrap it all around a pen or whatever you want the coil size to be.

Hit it with the heat gun.
