Eotech mount....alternatives?

So i finally got myself a magnifier for my eotech only to find out i cant mount it as is......the eotech is a little bit lower than the magnifier. I know there are eotech mounts (airsoftdepot.ca had them but its now out of stock.... http://airsoftdepot.ca/catalog/produ...products_id=28 ) and was wondering if anyone knows any alternative mounts that will do the same thing? I tried a plain ass 1inch riser but that was a little too much...

KH mountain has it in stock last i checked but their shipping takes forever and i dont wanna wait like a month. Or if anyone has one laying around they dont want you can pm me about it too :D

maybe i shoulda mention that i dont need real steel parts....:P

Are you looking for a riser mount base? Or for a ring mount? What's the diameter of your optic (where the ring would mount)? I have a swing out mount here from the Bomber magnifier sets.

If you have a 511, 512, 551 or 552 and have the 3X, the only thing that works is the Larue LT-110. But, the problem now is that you have to mount the sight much more forward than the mag to clear the QD lever, as well to clear the secondary rear riser.

EoTech realized the issue and the new 4X does not have the alignment problem of the 3X.

My 3X power flip to side EoTech came with a QD made by Samson (Samson Quick-flip). But it's a real steel so that might not help you much. See if someone makes a replica of the Samson?

Hm yea I know I gotta mount the sight a bit more forward but thats not too big of an issue....i think.

Oh right i've heard about the samson. But i dont think there are replica versions. At least i've never seen one.

Hey, I've got a Yankee Hill Eotech Riser. It's RS. It is design to raise the Eotech reticle enough to clear the front sight post, so that is probably about .25 of an inch. Here's the link:
